PicoBrew Now At $1.18M In Pledges For Beer Brewing Machine

Seattle-based PicoBrew, which develops fully automated beer brewing machines, has blown past its initial $200,000 goal for commitments for its newest gadget, the Pico, and now has over $1.18M pleged from 1,716 backers of the project. The company--which has been raising money on Kickstarter to fund the development and production of its new device--says the new $499 Pico will brew craft beers using a number of recipes from a large number of craft breweries. The crowdfunding campaign still has 5 days to go.
