Taplister Launches New Beer Discovery Platform

Portland-based Taplister, the beer discovery site run by Kerry Finsand, has launched a new platform today, saying that its product allows bars and restaurants to promote and "socialize" their beer selections across a wide range of platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, mobile apps, websites, and Taplister.com itself. Taplister provides information about different beers, and where you can find them. Among the enhancements to the platform is a "Digital Beer Board", which the company says shows rotating taps and information on craft beers within bars and restaurants. The new offering helps bars and restaurants transmit information on their beer selection both on the board, as well as to mobile phones, Taplister's iPhone app, Facebook, Twitter, and elsewhere.
