Rentrak Buys SponsorHub
Portland-based media measurement provider Rentrak said late last week that it has acquired SponsorHub, a provider of a big data software for the sports and entertainment industry, which helps those brands track engagement in sports and other entertainment. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Rentrak said SponsorHub's tools are used to track activity on the Olympics, World Cup, TV, and movies, and will help it expand its audience measurement and targeting tools. SponsorHub had been based in New York City.
