Sling Launches Onto Amazon Fire Tablets

Internet television service provider Sling TV said today that it has added support for Amazon's Fire tablets, and rolled out a new app for the platform. The company--which offers up monthly subscriptions to streamed, television content from major cable channels--said it now supports both Amazon Fire HD and Fire HDX tablets, on top of existing support for Amazon Fire TV and Amazon Fire TV Stick. Sling--which is owned by satellite TV operator Dish--let users access a growing selection of cable channels, purchased via subscription in different plans, all for delivery to a user's device or PC.
