Amazon Connects Fire TV, IMDb

Movie trivia fans rejoince! Amazon.com said this morning that it has connected its Amazon Fire TV with IMDb, the movie information site it owns, to provide all kinds of movie data to consumers watching Amazon Instant Video. Amazon.com said that users of Amazon Fire TV can now access actor biographies, trivia, soundtracks, and lots of other information from IMDb through a new feature called "X-Ray for Movies and TV Shows". Amazon had already been offering up the feature on its Fire tablets, but it's now also available on Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick. Amazon bought IMDb back in 1998.
