Ossia Names Commercialization Head

Bellevue-based remote wireless charging developer Ossia said today that it has named Abid Hussain as its Chief Commercialization Officer. Hussain has previously served at Arrayent, Summit Microelectronics, Marvell, National Semiconductor, among other companies, according to the company, and Ossia said Hussain's helped create Qualcomm's QuickCharge fast battery charging technology. Ossia is backed by KDDI, and is in the midst of developing remote, wireless charging technology, which it is making available to OEMs.
