Amazon Invests In Musaic, Rachio

Seattle-based Amazon.com says it has made two new investments today out of its Alexa Fund, its $100M fund for human voice startups. Amazon said it invested in Musaic, a developer of high resolution, wireless HiFi systems, and Rachio, a developer of software and hardware for improving water efficiency of homes. Exact size of the investments were not announced. Both companies are connecting their system to Amazon Echo, Amazon's living room device, which lets users order items, control devices, and more via voice control.
