Amazon Prime Now Hits Seattle

Amazon.com said this morning that it has finally launched its Prime Now, one-hour delivery service in its hometown, letting users here order wine, ice cream, milk, and paper towels for delivery in one hour. According to Amazon, the service now covers Seattle, Bellevue, Redmond and Kirkland. Amazon has been running Prime Now in Manhattan, Atlanta, annd Dallas, but had yet to extend the service to the Seattle area. As in other markets, the service costs $7.99 for one hour delivery, and two hour delivery is free--at least, for Amazon Prime members.
