Zonar Systems Gets $50M In Funding For Telematics Efforts
Seattle-based Zonar Systems, a developer of telematics services and technology for the trucking and transportation industry, has scored $50M in a funding round, the company disclosed Wednesday. The funding came from Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA). DTNA CEO Martin Daum has joined the company's board as part of the funding. Zonar's telematics systems are used for remotely monitoring vehicles, such as trucks and buses.
