Amazon Launches Fulfillment Services South Of The Border
Seattle-based Amazon.com is extending its fulfillment services for third party vendors to Mexico, the company said this week, to help business list and sell their products on the company's Mexican site. Amazon said that it will do the heavy operational lifting for sellers on Amazon.com.mx, helping to deliver products locally across Mexico. Amazon said that more than 40 percent of total unit sales worldwide on Amazon.com are now coming from third party sellers. Amazon charges sellers a stocking fee and percentage of sales for handling the fulfillment of products, which Amazon stores in its own fulfillment centers.
