Amazon To Open Third Portland Area Fulfillment Center

Seattle-based Amazon.com said this morning that it will open its third, Oregon fulfillment center in Portland. According to the company, the new center will create more than 1,000 full-time positions in Portland. Amazon said it will have 3,500 "fulfillment associates" spread across its fulfillment center in Troutdale and Salem, and existing "sortation center" in Hillsboro, and a Prime Now hub in Portland. Amazon said it the third location to open in 2018.
