Code Fellows Dangles $250,0000 In Scholarships
Seattle-based coding school Code Fellows said today that it has launched a new, $250,000 scholarship fund, to help provide 40 people with scholarships to the school's coding classes. Code Fellows said that the new scholarship fund--which will be administered by the WTIA--will provide 50 to 70 percent of its tuition costs, particularly for women and underrepresented minorities and veterans. Code Fellows is led by Kristin Smith. The school now has classes in Seattle, Portland, and Chicago.
