Code Fellows Accelerator Course: No Men Allowed
Seattle-based Code Fellows, the new software training effort led by Kristin Smith, said Thursday that it has launched a new course--and men are not allowed. The company, which helps train people for software jobs, said its new Development Accelerator is a new, female-only course, and will be offered exclusively for women interested in learning Ruby on Rails. According to Code Fellows, it also guarantees that graduates of the course will get a job offer of $60,000 to $100,000 on completion of the course. Smith said the new course was part of an effort to make today's tech environment "more equitable for smart women with superior programming skills."
