Code Fellows Expands To Portland

Seattle-based Code Fellows, the software development training and education company led by Kristin Smith, said today that it has expanded its operations into Portland, which it says is one of the nation's fastest growing tech communities. The company--which until recently was only in Seattle---said it will begin teaching computer science and web development basics to students starting in November. The company said it hopes to bring more talent to the Silicon Forest, helping to supply more web and mobile developers to the area, saying that there is a shortage of qualified software developers in Portland.
