Amazon Web Services A $5 Billion Business, Company Reveals

In an unusual move, Amazon.com said Thursday that its Amazon Web Services business is a $5 billion business, and is accelerating its growth, as the company offered up more details on its business operations than it typically has in the past. Amazon offered up the details on AWS as part of its quarterly results announcement, where the company reported a net loss of $57M on sales of $22.72 billion.
