Amazon.com Sales Grow To $32.7 Billion In Q3

Seattle-based Amazon.com announced its third quarter financial results on Thursday afternoon, saying that its third quarter sales rose 29 percent to $32.7 billion, compared with $25.4 billion in the third quarter of 2015. The company reported net income of $252M in the quarter. Among the many pieces of information released by Amazon in the quarterly results, the company said it expects to create 120,000 seasonal jobs in customer fulfillment and customer services over the holidays.
