X5 Solutions Buys Switching Concepts

Seattle-based X5 Solutions, the private equity backed provider of unified communications, SIP trunking, and other custom telecommunications services, said today that it has it acquired Switching Concepts, a provider of turnkey switching services. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Switching Concepts was based in Santa Monica, California. X5 Solutions is led by Greg Forrest, and was acquired by NewSpring Capital back in March.
