Microsoft Completes Revolution Analytics Buy

Microsoft said this morning that it has completed its acquisition of Revolution Analytics, the developer of the "R" big data analytics language. Financial terms of the buy have not been announced. The deal had originally been announced in January. Microsoft said it will build R and Revolution's technology into such products as SQL Server and Azure.
