Domain.com Adds New .XYZ Domain

There's been a new, Internet domain land rush for all sorts of new top level, domain extensions recently--with companies staking out claims for such extensions as .PLUMBING, .CLOTHING, .SINGLES, and hundreds more. However, what if you don't have any idea of what new extension you'd like? Vancouver, Washington-based Domain.com has an answer for you: .XYZ, which it says it hopes can display .COM as the domain extension of the "most popular websites". Domain.com, which is part of Endurance International Group, says it will started registering and pre-registering the domain shortly. Domain.com is led by Daniel Negari.
