Amazon Studios Reviving Sigmund and the Sea Monsters

Amazon Studios is bringing back the iconic 1970's children's show, Sigmund and the Sea Monsters in a production deal with Sid and Marty Krofft, the company said this morning. Amazon said Sid and Marty Krofft--also known for such titles as Land of the Lost--will develop a "reimagined pilot" of the show for Amazon Prime Instant Video. Amazon did not say when it expects to debut Sigmund and the Sea Monsters, or how many episodes it expects to produce as part of the pilot.
