Placed Signs Long List Of Media Agencies

Seattle-based Placed, the venture-backed developer of location analytics software for advertisers, said Wednesday that it has been chosen by a long list of media agencies as the "preferred digital to in-store measurement solution". The company said IPG Mediabrands, Essence, Crossmedia, Southwest Media Group, Digitas, and Horizon are all using the company's software to measure the impact of digital advertising on in-store visits. Financial impact of the deals were not announced. Placed is venture backed by Madrona Venture Group and Two Sigma Ventures, and is led by David Shim.
