Amazon Kicks Off 2015 Pilot Season Thursday

Seattle-based Amazon.com is kicking off its 2015 pilot season on Thursday, and will be showing of thirteen new shows on Amazon Instant Video. The shows--available only in the US, UK, and Germany--are the result of Amazon's original content efforts, via Amazon Studios. The long list of comedies, dramas, documentaries, and kids shows include shows from Ridley Scott (Blade Runner), Carol Greenwald (Arhtur), Angela Santomero (Blue's Clues), Randall Wallace (Braveheart), and Carlton Cuse (Lost), among many others. Amazon is using its original content to help differentiate its service from other streaming media services like Netflix.
