Amazon Launches New Video Pilots

Seattle-based Amazon.com has launched a new set of pilot series on Amazon Instant Video today, part of the company's push into original content. According to Amazon, it launched five new original comedy and drama pilots, which it will ask its viewers to watch, rate, and review--in order to pick which pilots will go on as regular series. Amazon.com said this is the third pilot season for the company, where it uses customer feedback on shows to determine its future development plans. The new pilots include The Cosmopolitans; Hand of God; Hysteria; Really; and Red Oaks.
