Amazon To Launch Third, Pilot Season

Seattle-based Amazon.com said today that it is getting set to launch the third, pilot season of its original content efforts, launching three comedies and two thrillers to audiences in the US and UK. The original content--all part of Amazon Prime Instant Video--again will tap into consumer feedback to determine which, if any, of those pilots will go on to a longer production run. The company said the pilots include half hour comedies The Cosmopolitans, Really and Red Oaks, and hour long thrillers Hand of God and Hysteria. Amazon lets users vote on which pilots they want turned into series on Amazon Prime Instant Video.
