Spoon.net Connects Containers To Windows
Seattle-based application virtualization software Spoon said today that it has brought the popular "container" concept to Windows, through a new product called Spoon containers for Windows. Containers--the latest virtualization technology to gain interest among enterprises--lets developers more easily deploy applications to various cloud computing environments. Spoon.net said its new product supports both desktop and server applications, letting developers deploy things such as .NET and Java-based applications without the need to install .NET or Java runtimes.
