Spoon Takes On Cloud Gaming
Seattle-based Spoon, a developer of virtualization and cloud computing software, said Wednesday that it has launched a new, cloud gaming service. the firm said its new Spoon Cloud Gaming service delivers desktop games on-demand to computers, via its small browser plug-in. The new service is free. The firm said it uses a hybrid model to allow desktop games to run from the cloud, without the latency issues apparent with other technology. Spoon is headed by Kenji Obata.
