Parallels Reports Deployment Milestone

Renton, Washington-based Parallels is trumpeting its progress in the latest hot cloud computing market, saying today that it has seen more than one million deployed "virtual containers" from its Parallels Cloud Server and Parallels Virtuozzo Containers products. Parallels claims it has the "most deployed container instances" in the market. Containers are a hot new buzzword in the enterprise cloud market, where cloud applications and configurations are deployed as "virtual containers" to make it easier to manage virtual environments.
