Amazon Loses Exclusive on Sunday Delivery
The US Postal Service is getting set to delivery seven days a week, starting November 17th through Christmas Day, as part of its extension of delivery to Sunday. According to the Postal Service, it will be delivering on Sunday and Christmas Day, letting online retailers ship their products for delivery every day of the week. Previously, the Postal Service had been offering Sunday delivery--but only for Seattle ecommerce giant Amazon.com. Amazon.com has been offering up Sunday delivery in big cities like New York and Los Angeles since November, and expanded its Sunday delivery contract with the USPS in May.
