Amazon, BBC Agree On New License For Doctor Who

Amazon and the BBC have signed a multi-year, licensing agreement for the BBC's Doctor Who series, giving Amazon.com exclusive streaming rights to the series. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Amazon.com had dropped Doctor Who, along with other BBC content, from Amazon Prime Video last year, in a spat with the BBC over exclusive content. Amazon.com had been unhappy with the availability of the BBC's content on competitors Netflix and Hulu.
