Microsoft Office Rises To Top In App Store

Microsoft's new Microsoft Office apps for the iPhone and iPad have risen to the list top downloads on the App Store, after Microsoft made the apps free last week. Microsoft--which launched new apps for the iPhone, iPad, and Android tablets late last week--said the new apps allows users to access and edit Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents, all without requiring a subscription. Microsoft also released a "Preview" version of the apps for Android tablet last week.
