Amazon Dangles Free Overnight Shipping At Diapers, Soap.com, Wag.com

Seattle-based Amazon.com looks to be in an early, aggressive push to win more than its share of holiday orders, taking the offensive via its Quidsi e-commerce unit. Quidsi--which runs Diapers.com, Soap.com, and Wag.com--said Wednesday that it will offer up free, overnight shipping on orders of $49 or more on the three sites, in the greater New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles metropolitan areas. The aggressive move is early for the holiday season, which has typically started right after Thanksgiving.
