Cray Snags MongoDB Chief For Board, Shuffles Execs
Seattle-based supercomputer maker Cray has tapped the CEO of database software developer MongoDB for its board of directors, according to the company. Cray said that Max Schireson, who heads up database company MongoDB, will become both a member of its board as a member of its Strategic Technology Assessment and Compensation Committees. The addition comes admist a shuffling of the company's executives, including the departure of Bill Blake (CTO) and Arvind Parthasarathi (President of YarcData). Schireson also has served at MarkLogic and Oracle.
