Expedia Buys Auto Escape Group

Bellevue-based travel website operator Expedia has Auto Escape Group, a European car rental reservation service. Expedia said that Auto Escape Group will become part of its CarRentals.com brand. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Auto Escape Group hjad previously been owned by Montefiore Investment. Auto Escape Group was based in Hamburg, Germany and Pertuis, France.
