Radisys Loses Board Member

Hillsboro, Oregon-based Radisys, which develops wireless software and hardware, reported Friday that one of its board members, Kevin C. Melia, has passed away. Melia had been an independent director at the firm. Melia also served on the boards of Greatbatch Inc, Analogic Corp, DCC Plc, C&S Wholesale Grocers and Merrion Capital, and has been an executive at Sun Microsystems and DEC. Radisys said it will not be backfilling Melia's board seat. Melia had been on the company's board since 2003.
