Radisys Gets $5M Order From Asia

Hillsboro, Oregon-based Radisys said Thursday afternoon that it has received a big, $5M order from an un-named, Asian customer, for its MediaEngine product. According to Radisys, roughly $4M of that order is expected to ship in the fourth quarter. Radisys also said that same, un-named customer made a $4.7M cash payment against an existing, accounts receivable balance owed to Radisys. Radisys develops media processing, media serving, transcoding, and other systems used in delivering digital media.
