Starbucks Begins Offering Up Wireless Charging

Seattle-based Starbucks said this morning that it has begun rolling out wireless charging mats in its stores, including both Starbucks company stores and Teavana locations. The new wireless charging stations are being rolled out in a partnership with Duracell Powermat. Starbucks said the 'Powermat Spots' will include designated areas ont ables and counters to let them charge their devices wirelessly, beginning with stores in the San Francisco Bay area. The charging pads support a large number of mobile phones and other devices.
