Spokane Sports Arenas Get New Wi-Fi Service

Two, Spokane, Washington area arenas are set to get a new, Wi-Fi provider and better cellular reception, thanks to a deal at Gonzaga University's McCarthey Athletic Center and the Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena, according to a vendor last week. Boingo Wireless, which installs and operates Wi-Fi hotspots and cellular cell systems in sports and other venues, said it is installing its networks at both venues, to give Wi-Fi and better cellular capacity at both venues. Financial details of the deal were not announced. The two are able to seat a combined 20,000 fans.
