Cray Gets Another Win At Japanese University
Seattle-based Cray said today that it has installed another supercomputer at the University of Tsukuba in Japan, the second install of one of its CS300 clustered supercomputers in the location. Financial impact of the new win was not announced. Cray said the system is the second CS300 to be installed there in the last six months. The new system is being installed as part of the Center for Computational Sciences (CCS) at the university, for use in research on space physics, theory of elementary particles, life sciences and material sciences.
