BendBroadband Acquired By Chicago Company

Bend, Oregon-based BendBroadband, which offers up broadband, fiber, cable television, and telephone services, has been acquired by Chicago-based Telephone and Data Systems, the parent firm of TDS Telecom, the companies announced late last week. The deal was worth $261M. According to the companies, BendBroadband had annual revenues of $70M in 2013, and has 230 employees. BendBroadband serves around 79,000 homes and businesses in Oregon.
