Redfin Heads To Vegas

Redfins is going to Vegas, baby. Seattle-based real estate brokerage Redfin, is heading to Sin City, saying this morning that it is expanding its full service, real estate brokerage to the city. Redfin--which has already been offering up its tools and website to consumers there since 2010--said it will be directly helping consumers in Las Vegas through Redfin's own agents. Those agents are paid salaries, not commissions, and help users buy and sell homes in the local market. Redfin said it is expanding into Las Vegas as that market recovers from the recession, which hit the area hard. Redfin said that Las Vegas is an "extremely cyclical" market.
