Smarsh Ties With LinkedIn

Portland-based, hosted business archiving software provider Smarsh said Thursday afternoon that it has been selected by LinkedIn, as part of that company's Certified Compliance Partner program. Smarsh said the link means that its platform will help its customers with meeting recordkeeping and supervision requirements from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), and other agencies. Smarsh said it is using LinkedIn's APIs to preserve posts, comments, messages, and other content from LinkedIn, so that it can be produced for regulatory examinations, audits, or e-discovery requests.
