Cray Wins Storage Deal In Germany
Seattle-based supercomputer maker Cray reported Tuesday that it has scored a win in Germany, to install its storage products at the North German Supercomputing Alliance (HLRN). Financial impact of the win was not announced. Cray's Tiered Adaptive Storage (TAS) product is being used to store and archive data for big data and high performance computing (HPC) environments at the German research institution, which is at Leibniz University in Hannover, Germany.
