Moz Takes On Local Listings
Seattle-based Moz is taking on the local listings market with a new product, the company said this week. According to Moz, it has launched a brand new product--Moz Local--which lets businesses manage their local business search listings -- those results that show up in search engines, apps, and elsewhere when consumers look for businesses nearby. According to Moz, the new product is based on technology it acquired from GetListed 18 months ago. Moz said the new tool helps upload locations for businesses to major U.S. data aggregators like Infogroup, Neustar Localeze, Acxiom, Factual, and Foursquare, along with local directory provides Superpages, eLocal, and Best of the Web Local. Moz said it will charge $49 per year per location for the new service.
