WedBrilliant Launches Wedding Planning Marketplace

Looking to find some help to make your wedding day go smoothly? Portland-based WedBrilliant has just launched a new online wedding marketplace and tool, which helps engaged couples find and vet wedding planners. According to founder Melissa Wilmot, the site lets engaged couples post their wedding needs, and receive customized bids from qualified wedding vendors, such as caterers, photographers, wedding planners, florists, and others. The idea is to reduce the extensive phone calls currently required to find information from vendors in the wedding industry. WedBrilliant says the service is free to couples, and that it charges vendors a small percentage of winning bids for the service.
