Nearlyweds Scores $150K For Wedding Site

Seattle-based Nearlyweds, an online service for creating personalized, wedding web sites, has raised $150,000 in a round of funding, according to a regulatory filing from the firm Friday. Chris DeVore is an investor in the firm. Nearlyweds is headed by John Scrofano, who has previously served at 3Guppies and 3GUpload.com. Nearlyweds offers engaged couples fully designed, custom web sites for wedding invitations, priced at $49 for two years. The sites allow couples to upload photos and videos, request RSVPs to weddings and other events, create their own blogs, and more. More information »
