Nearlyweds Acquires OneWed, Raises $500K

Seattle-based Nearlyweds, which operates an online site targeted at engaged couples in the process of wedding planning, said Thursday that it has acquired OneWed, an online wedding planning site which also operates WeddingPreParty.com. Financial term sof the acquisition were not disclosed. In addition to the acquisition, Nearlyweds said it is currently closing funding from Founders Co-Op, Jon Kelly (ThisorThat.com), Andy Liu (BuddyTV), David Niu (BuddyTV), Kelly Smith (Curious Office), and Summit Capital.
