Mentor Graphics Buys Software Line From Mecel AB

Wilsonville, Oregon-based Mentor Graphics announced this morning that it has acquired a line of software from Mecel AB, focused on embedded automotive software. According to Mentor, it has acquired the Mecel Picea AUTOSAR Development Suite, which it will use to bolster its automotive software line. According to Mentor, Mecel AB's assets compliment its existing Linux-based software solutions.
