Rover.com In New Partnership With Nonprofit
Seattle-based Rover.com, the online service which connects dog owners with dog sitters, said this week that it has linked with nonprofit the Ian Somerhalder Foundation (ISF). ROver said it is making a $5,000 donation to the foundation, and ISF will become part of its " Sit-a-Dog, Save-a-Life" program. That program allows dog sitters to donate a portion of their proceeds to animal rescues and shelters. Rover said that the ISF's mission is to "empower, educate and collaborate with people and projects to positively impact the planet and its creatures."
