Rover.com Partners With DOGTV

Seattle-based online pet sitting marketplace Rover.com has inked a partnership with DOGTV, an online cable channel focused on dogs, according to the company. Rover.com said it has teamed in a marketing relationship with the television network, which specifically broadcasts content for dogs (not their owners, but the dogs themselves). According to the companies, Rover and DOGTV will work together on co-marketing campaigns to the "pet parent" community. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. The companies said people who sign up for DOGTV will also get a $25 gift certificate to try out Rover.com.
