Rascoff Backs Liftopia

Local travel angel Spencer Rascoff (Zillow) is heading to the ski slopes with his latest investment, online ski and snowboarding ticketing site Liftopia. Rascoff was among a large number of angels and other investors who contributed to a $5M round for the San Francisco company, which helps link skiiers and snowboarders up with discounted tickets to resorts around the country. New investors in the round were Industry Ventures, ru-Net, Thayer Ventures, Marc Benioff, Jeremy Stoppelman, Walter Winshall and Spencer Rascoff.
